August 14, 200421 yr Does this program use any type of hardware-binding anti-piracy protection? How is it reinstalled? I do frequent reformats and reinstalls and I need to be sure that I'm not going to run into a problem with some sort of limited-reinstall policy. Thanks - DougEdited 'cause I can't spel Intel 10700K @ 5.1Ghz, Asus Hero Maximus motherboard, Noctua NH-U12A cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 32GB 3200 MHz RAM, RTX 2060 Super GPU, Cooler Master HAF 932 Tower, Thermaltake 1000W Toughpower PSU, Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit, 100TB of disk storage. August 14, 200421 yr Commercial Member Hi Doug,Thanks for your interest in AS2004! There is no hardware-based protection. Piracy is all handled at the server level. You just need to enter your correct order ID and/or purchase user name during the installation routine. As for re-installs, you'll need to keep your AS2004 installation package handy (archived) as well as your order details from SimMarket. Re-downloads are available from SimMarket for a fee...Hope that helps! Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
