September 15, 200421 yr Hello Jim,In view of Damian's family facing hurricane Frances, this might not be the best time for my question. But...I ask anyway, sorry for that.I would like to know how to exactly reproduce the weather at a given date and time. Let's say I want to re-live hurricane Ivan on Sep13 or so. What I do now is (down)load the archived weather. AS2004 then disables online updates. I then change the option to use flightsim time and not the pc time. Finaly I set date and time (Zulu time) in flightsim accordingly. This should be sufficient, shouldn't it? However, I have the impression that the weather is not always completely reproduced. I have tried with TAF on/off. Is there something I overlook? Do you have any suggestions/tips? What is the proper procedure to get true to live archived weather?Kind regards,Henk-Jan
September 15, 200421 yr Hi,Bring the questions on!! We step up for each other when real life stuff comes up.I read your procedure and it look like you are doing everything correctly. I guess I need to know some details if you think your weather is not correct. Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg
September 15, 200421 yr After you set up FS Time, perhaps you need to perform a refresh as the last step so AS will adjust.
