January 19, 200521 yr I flew into Green Bay Wisconsin tonight in a snowstorm displayed on my FS9 by Active Sky. Ceiling about 500 feet with Vis at 3/4 mile in blowing snow, and flying the backcourse with my F1 ATR72. The effects that Active Sky generated were absolutely amazing. I am so glad I bought this program and feel sorry for people that don't have it when they fly FS9. :-)
January 19, 200521 yr Thanks Bob,After about 2 days of stuff, it's great to know that AS is working for someone!Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg
January 19, 200521 yr Moderator Hey Jim - There are a LOT of us who love AS. It's just that a support forum usually generates messages from people who are having a problem. If you want to ruin your bandwidth, just start a thread and ask us how many REALLY LIKE AS! Then stand back.I think you ought to print out this message and look at it occasionally when all the XXXX piles too high.As an old time real world pilot who can't fly for real any longer, I can't even begin to tell you how realistic I feel AS is. And, as a long time computer programmer, I also can't tell you how impressed I am with the work that has been done. I would guess that Damian has pulled many an all nighter tracking down a random buglet.Again, many thanks to Damian and yourself.(variant) ILLIGETIMUS NON CARBORUNDUM - loosely translated as"Don't let the b.a.s.t.a.r.d.s grind you down"Vic BaronVisit the Virtual Pilot's Centerwww.flightadventures.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160

January 20, 200521 yr Jim,It's easy to find out how many have AS2004.5 working OK.Just look how many different people are posting with problems and subtract that number from the number of copies of AS2004.5 out there :-)That should give you, Damian, and any others on the team a warm glow ;-)That's not to say AS2004.5 is perfect but most of us know you (the team) are working on fixes.
