July 13, 200520 yr Have you by any chance updated your video drivers which support SLI mother boards??? Some people who don't have SLI video boards have had a real problem with those drivers. You may want to roll back to the last 6x.xx set of drivers. I have the same programs loaded and have no problems. If it isn't the driver issue you probably have a corrupted file somewhere. Like DS says you can trouble shoot by uninstalling them.Hope this helps,
July 14, 200520 yr Jim,I downloaded and installed the full ASV. But alas, even after a full install...If I load a flight in FS9 the little progress bar get to about 43% and then I get a CTD. Again...:( For whatever reason, on my machine anyway, ASV and LVLD767 don't play well together.Unless you or others have any ideas for why I can't fly LVLD 767 with ASV installed (even if I don't activate it) I'm going to uninstall ASV and wait for some kind of patch. Thanks again for the great customer service. I'm sure we'll get the wrinkle figured out soon enough.Steve

I should clarify this to mean if I create a flight and click on the Fly Now button, the next screen shows a progress bar. All is good until about 43-45% and then the CTD occurs.
July 14, 200520 yr Commercial Member HI Steve,"All is good until about 43-45% and then the CTD occurs. "There is something wrong, I saw alot of these CTD stoping at x%, these type of CTD at loading are well know as scenery or texture issue. I have saw many running LVLD 767 with ASV, this should not be the problems.-Try to delete your FS9.CFG file, it will rebuilt a new one.-Did you have some Fly by view *.dll installed?-If you run asv with others aircraft, what's is the result?-Try to disable scenery addons and start fs2004.-Uninstall LVLD 767 and reinstallThanksChris WillisHiFi Simulation Software Team Developerhttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg Kind RegardsChris Willis
July 15, 200520 yr OK, another update. I deleted the FS9.cfg file and let the sim regenerate. With that I was able to fly the Cessna. I then was able to load ASV and get it to work. I was then able to, in mid flight, change aircraft from the Cessna to the LVLD 767 and it worked. When I tried to restart the sim with ASV already "active" I got an immediate CTD. Interestingly, though I only tried it for a few minutes, the LVLD 767 was able to operate within the ASV environment IF I changed planes and IF ASV was loaded after FS9 was active.Does that shed any light on matters? I feel like I'm getting closer!Steve
July 15, 200520 yr Since my above post I can't get the sim to go beyond create flight. I get a CTD before I get to see any plane in any setting. This is true even if ASV is not activated (even after a fresh reboot of my machine).Steve
July 15, 200520 yr You may need a fresh install of FS including the .cfg and any saved flights.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
