Too many clouds!

Featured Replies

Hi all-I just did a reinstall of FS9 on another drive and all is well except for AS. I'm using Version 1.1 with the MR1 service pack. When I try to limit cloud layers to 3, 2 or even one, I see what looks like 4. I'm using FE with the latest version of FSUIPC. I love all the clouds but not the 10fps. Any suggestions on where that secret button is?? :>)Thanks,Mark

Hi,You have asv or active sky 4.5?You should use 256x256 clouds or dxt clouds in FE.-Reduce the clouds draw distant to left in fs2004 display option.-You can improve performance in fs2004 display slider..If you are still getting low fps,-Your system spec-When it happend, specific area or always.-What's aircraft you are using at the same time 32 bits texture or dxt-How many software a running in the background. Hi,Another possibility... FSUIPC "random light cirrus" option is enabled, adding an additional layer beyond ASV's processing.. We recommend using "weather settings off" to keep things consistent. All associated weather options are automatically controlled by ASV assuming they are "off" to begin with.Best,
