October 3, 200520 yr I run ASV on the main Flying PC mostly to randomize textures and to check weather on the planning stage before a flight. On the Non Flying PC (which is Laptop connected to FS9 via WideClient) I also run ActiveSky to inject weather in FS9.. Now, the standard version I downloaded for ActiveSky which I purchased like a week ago did NOT gave me more 'Your FS9 folder is invalid' after I saved the configuration options in the options menu. The Enhanced RC6 version, regardless of SAVING the OPTIONS keeps the annoyning message poping up every time I launch ActiveSky in my laptop.. is this a bug? or a feature?
October 3, 200520 yr Hi,Sorry you are having trouble. Please post the ASV.ini file from the Laptop install. You aren't running both ASVs at the same time are you?You can do all your preflight stuff from the Laptop PC.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
October 3, 200520 yr Author > You can do all your preflight stuff from the Laptop PCYes I can, but I will have to share over the network the FS2004 folder on the main computer with write permissions for texture randomizing and submission, no way I'm doing that. October 3, 200520 yr Commercial Member Hi,The easiest option in this case to trick ASV into thinking the FS9 folder is correct is to copy the following folder/file from FS: Texturecumulus01.bmp into your C:WideClient folder. This will eliminate the error warning.Best, Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
