hi, i installed the 512x512 textures,then enabled dxt textures, after they had been converted i got a pop up box saying that becuase of my security settings dxt textures where not enabled i would have to manually enable them in asv/active enviroment/dxt batch file, so what do i have to do. thanks, jim

hi chris, i have already have mips enabled theyre ok, i had also installed the 128x128 textures about a couple of weeks ago and they are ok as well, i can select 512x 512 textures in the active enviroment and when i click on enable dxt it says they are already enabled, so it looks like everything is ok i dont know why i got the pop up,is there a way to check if the 512x512 dxt textures are actually being used during my flights thanks, jim

hi, i disabled mips then uninstalled the 512x512 textures, then i made sure the 512x512 mips and dxt folders where removed from fs9/modules/asv/ active enviroment, then i reinstalled the 512x512 textures after disabling my antivirus and firewall i then enabled mips and the textures where converted, then i enabled dxt and the textures where converted [no popups this time]. i then checked my fs9/textures/512x512cumulus 01 bitmap and the size is still 1.33mb, so i still dont know if things are as they should be thanks, jim

i forgot to add if i look in my fs9 back up the cumulus bitmap is 1.33mb
