November 16, 200520 yr When I activate constabt aloft temperature, it causes the ground temp to jump to +28C. Is this normal, or an anomoly on my system? Also, is there any news on this update that will solve problems for us Concorde flyers at high levels with regard to temperatures and winds at high levels? Thanks for any info.-Phil Phil Brown
November 16, 200520 yr Hi Phil,Was the departure temperature +28?Had you processed a plan?We have added stations. Not sure if it fixes the Concorde situations.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
November 17, 200520 yr Commercial Member Hi Phil,The temperatures for all station writes will be cloned from your destination station. So it would be normal if the destination had +28C on the ground. Excluding lower-alt temp cloning (9000ft and below) might be a good idea to allow better surface realism, and we will look into that.Yes we have solved the high-altitude problems (actually more "oceanic" problems but more apparent in high-altitude flight) using a new station generation feature and some new options which will debut in the next ASV upgrade, coming soon. We're in the initial internal beta process and things are looking good, so it shouldn't be too much longer..Best, Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
