I am interested in purhasing AS 6. Does it support icing or hail? Doe it replace the default FS snow, rain, etc textures as well?Thanks! Eric

Hi Eric,Thanks for your interest. Icing is supported by support of the internal FS9 icing effect which reduces lift and increases drag over time as icing accumulates. ASv6 selects the icing intensity levels based on freezing level and ice type calculations, the most severe resulting from freezing rain and thunderstorms. FS9 has no hail effect, but in ASv6 we support the GR METAR datatag identifier for hail as well as ice pellets and snow pellets. Hail uses the FS9 rain effect (at higher intensities) while pellets use the snow effect. Yes, we include several snow and rain textures within the ActiveSky Graphics content.Hope that helps!Best,
