constant grey skies

HiI am posting 2 pics; one the METAR for EGCC today and the other the actual weather I am getting. I cannot believe the two are the same as teh METAr refers to broken clouds but the weather comes in as completely grey skiesthanksJohn

Hi Jonh,Vis is 5 miles, so the rendering is correct... You can't see the clouds (very well) because FS9 renders visibility improperly in the vertical sense. I can see the clouds just barely in your screenshot. In real 5 miles vis the view above would not be as restricted and you'd definiately see these clouds. You can always turn up the minimum visibility AS option to prevent vis from going below 10sm, and this will prevent any grey skies but then you'd lose your realistic 5mile horizontal vis effect.Best,
