How to use AS with WideView?

Featured Replies

currently I have three computers running three monitors (L.F, Front, R.F). My next purchase of a PC for FSX would give me another PC for Left view.I have been using AS6 now and love it... The need for having very similar weather has cropped up(if not the same clouds crossing multiple monitors).Any suggestions? Ideas?Manny

Hi Manny,Unfortunately there is no way to do this "synched" at this time, because the FS9 cloud models used are always random. The exact same wx condition parameters on two different FS9 installations will pretty much always yield different formations.ASv6 also has random influences in all of its weather generation, and this gets done at real-time so there is no way to copy the exact parameters (for example, cloud thicknesses, types, variations, etc.) across different installations. The closest thing would be to use the exact same weather, by sharing the same wx file. Use the same ASG Theme too. This ensures that all basic parameters are similar (like cloud bases, temps, baro, textures, etc.) but as mentioned the cloud formation visuals are going to be quite a bit different.Perhaps in the future we will have better control over the end-result depiction and can work on a synchronization feature (which might be good for multiplayer pilots too).Best,
