Hi everyone!Service Update 2 has been officially released. This service update contains many fixes and enhancements based on recent user feedback. Thanks go out to all who participated during the public beta cycle! Please download from http://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/ASV6-SU2.zip and simply extract/install over your existing installation. This is a critical recommended update for ALL ASv6 users.Note that this official SU2 release contains all changes from previous updates, and is the only update needed for any version of ASv6. All beta/release-candidate versions should be upgraded to this new official release.Thank you!The HiFi Development Team================================================================ASv6 Revision LogNOTE: Due to default option changes, please select

Iposted somewhere else but think I should be here, Got the Update 2 installed and says B464 so that is correct but when clicking on the ASG icon I get a "failed to inittialize (Oxc 0000135)" poping up, did not uninstall 4.5 or ASVIs that my error?? appreciate the help and can't say enough about how neat this program is.......suppose this will be the default in FSX.....RRL

That was it!! Thought I already had it, but wrong again...Graphics came right to life on first load, thanks for your VERY quick help!!! RRL

Whoops, forgot to ask about the earlier versions, should I leave them on FS, or delete either??

Damon and Jim,Love the update, this issue is not causing a problem I think, but when I exit FS and ASv6 is still active I see a mesage that states Last Download fail, will try on next interval. What is causing this and is there a setting that I should change?ThanksBob JohnsonDallas

Hi Bob,You may have shut down FS04 in the middle of a download, but even that should not produce that message.Try to always close ASv6 first, even in the middle of a download. You should just get the "Closing connections" message.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6...development.jpg http://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-proud.jpg

Hi Jim,This problem is happening while I am inflight. I only see it when I am closing down FS9 and open AS6 to close it. Last night I brought up AS6 during the flight and it was there. Any thoughts?Bob

Hi Bob,Any Internet connection problems that you are aware of?New anti-virus software?New firewall? You may want to do a spyware scan and see what comes up.At this time no other users that I know of are experiencing this.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6...development.jpg http://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-proud.jpg

Hi Jim,I sent Damon a note on this problem a while back when it was just an error being reported. With SU2 he sent me an exe file that he told me would report that there was a failure to download. I just sent him a note during the Super Bowl half-time show saying I have checked all kinds of options. One thing that is curious is that if I pause FS this failure to download message will always come up. Maybe a re-install will help. When this failure to download comes up AS6 will stop working, if I do a manual download everything goes back working fine with AS6. This problem did not occur with ASVBTW, you guys in DTW did a nice job hosting the Super Bowl (grin)Bob:-jumpy
