Q's to auto submit (again)

Featured Replies

hi there!first, many thanks for the new SU2 update und your neverending support!i've a question regarding the auto-submit feature in ASV6 ( especially runway lights), which is ON and wx-influenced in my setup:when i start asv6, current weather will be downloaded and KSEA is loaded per default as departure (i know i can change this in the options screen) airport. In this stage, i can not enter a flightplan and ASG submits automatically new graphics to fs9 based on KSEA weather only (no departure airport available). so, i understand, if i use a flightplan with a departure and destination, ASG is trying to match the graphics for both airports (dep and dest) based on the current wx-file. this means, if the destination shows in the metar low visibilty, cloudy, etc, ASG will try to match those conditions with the relevant graphics. if this is true, a nice feature would be (if not already inplemented), that, if the destination airports reports low visibility (ok, the weather could either improve or deteriorate during the flight with ONLINE updates ON, but not OFFLINE), ASG sumbits i.e. brighter runway lights (well, you will have brighter runway lights at your departure also, even the weather is clear, but alas...).so how are the runway lights currently handeld? random or really wx-influenced based on the above situation?thanks and cheers, harald

Hi Harald,Thanks for the comments!Wx Influenced is only based on departure conditions. The lights, if I am reading the ASG.igs file correctly, are random only. That is a new file for me and I am learning as I go! Hi,Yes, confirming that the lights are completely random at this time. The overall brightness of the lights are handled by the FS visibility rendering system.Best,
