Updating Cirrus Graphics Only (FS Active)

Featured Replies

Hi guys. The above message shows when the AS download screen first appears.I'm assuming this is not a good thing??Help?ThanksTim

I'm experiencing the same thing. Curious as to what I might be doing wrong here.

Hi All,If FS04 is open at the time this is a normal message. We can only update the cirrus textures while FS04 is running. If FS04 is NOT running then we can update all textures.Remember, the procedure is:1. Start ASv62. Plan your flight3. Start FS04Is this what is happening?Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6...development.jpg http://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-proud.jpg

All looks great anyway, just curious :)VicVisit the Virtual Pilot's Centerwww.flightadventures.comhttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-proud.jpghttp://www.jdtllc.com/images/rcv4bannersupporter.jpg

Hi Vic,ASv6 knows if FS04 is running or not, due to FSUIPC. If FS04 is not running then ASG "knows" to auto submit all choosen textures.Once FS04 is active ASv6 recognizes this through FSUIPC again and then ASG "knows" to only submit the cirrus textures as those are the only textures that can be updated/changed while FS04 is running. This is why there are two different messages.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6...development.jpg http://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-proud.jpg

Start AS6 paused. Load flightplan into AS6. Refresh AS6 to update ALL graphics. After you see online update complete, start FS9. After FS9 is started at your departure airport, go back to AS6 and hit Refresh. Go fly.

Thanx, Jim - explains it well. As I said, all is working - just curious as to why sometimes! :)VicVisit the Virtual Pilot's Centerwww.flightadventures.comhttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-proud.jpghttp://www.jdtllc.com/images/rcv4bannersupporter.jpg
