February 28, 200620 yr Hi all. I have finally given in and purchased Active sky 6. Well worth it. But at the moment I'm not sure what textures are in use. I have tried to run Active graphics, but recieve an error message 'The application failed to intialize properly (0x0000135). Click ok to terminate the application.'. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, but the same error appears. Any suggestions. Kind regardsPaul Edwards Paul Edwards
February 28, 200620 yr Commercial Member HI Paul,It's because ActiveSky Graphics Requires Microsoft .NET Framework v1.1 (or later) Most XP users have this already via Windows Update.ThanksChris Willishttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6...development.jpg http://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-proud.jpghttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-beta.jpg Kind RegardsChris Willis
February 28, 200620 yr Author Thanks Chris, it worked. I have turned off auto update because one of the files it was trying to download was causing my computer to crash. I have added the link for the Microsoft .Net v2.0 for any other user that might have the same problem.http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...&displaylang=enKind regardsPaul Paul Edwards
March 13, 200620 yr Greetings, I just upgraded from Active Sky 5, I am getting the same message. I have Windows XP, Service pack 2 with all the updates. The program works in FS but every time I click on Active sky Graphics it gives me that message. Note that I did not uninstall Active sky 5. Anything else I can do since I already have Windows XP.Thanks John Holt
March 13, 200620 yr Hi,Make sure you have .NET 1.1 or higher installed. To check this you cna see if it is listed on the Add/Remove programs list in Control Panel. If it is on the list you may need to uninstall, reboot and then reinstall .NET.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development TeamActive Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter
