October 8, 200619 yr Hi Jim,As a feedback, I 'd like to report that all Metars of HSSS for the last 2 weeks refer to Khartoum temp/dew point as low as 09/09, which appears to be rather unlikely in such a place, where there are temperatures between +25*C to +50*C almost all the year round.Secondly, I 'd like know whether (in online ASv6 mode) the FS9 ATC would reverse the rwy in use, if the wind changed dramatically.Thanks,Sotiris. October 8, 200619 yr Hi,Thanks for the report. Yes the report is behind and has 9/9. I am asking Damian about it!Thanks, Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
October 8, 200619 yr Commercial Member Hi,HSSS appears to have stopped reporting. It should be correctly alternating to different data from the surrounding area. I will look into it tomorrow and try to come up with a solution.Best, Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies

October 9, 200619 yr Hi,Sorry I missed that one! On a long flight you may need to use the Refresh AI button to get ATC reset to the new weather.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
October 9, 200619 yr Author OK, This is understood. But in case of being in an airport for long enough and in the mean time weather parameters change ?Sotiris. Sotiris Stavrakis
October 9, 200619 yr Commercial Member Hi,This is handled by FS, and it will switch to the new runway direction after about 10-30 minutes (depending on traffic). Basically, every aircraft on approach or with taxi clearance before the winds changed needs to land or depart.Best, Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
October 10, 200619 yr Commercial Member Hi,As a follow up, it appears HSSS METARS are not currently being fetched or served (normal) as the station has stopped reporting METARs. The station is however reporting TAF approximately every 6 hours and this does show a temperature of 9/9 for the valid current time period. It appears the station in question, and apparently several others in the area, are suffering from some problems in this department. Hopefully this clears up soon.Regardless, ASv6 appears to be properly using the next closest station data which at the time is HEBL with temp 30C. Please let us know if you experience any further issues...Best, Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
