October 29, 200619 yr Hello,I just bought AS6.5 to use with FSX and I was under the impression that one of the features was to avoid abrupt weather change. But when I use it in FSX the weather just flips from one state to another all suddenly with no smoothing ?Do I have some of my settings wrong, or is this just not working ?Thanks,Frank
October 29, 200619 yr Hi Frank,Thanks for the purchase and welcome. A few questions/suggestions:1. Make sure weather change rate is set to none in FSX.2. Make sure you are using the suppression options in AS.3. Is the weather totally changing or is the visibility changing? Please let us know,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/

October 29, 200619 yr >3. Is the weather totally changing or is the visibility>changing?>I have noticed rapid visibility changes in FSX + ASV, or with FSX weather by itself. I have only done a few flights...more testing needed...RhettAMD 3700+ (@2.5 ghz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (94.47), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2 GB Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8, WD 250 gig 7200 rpm SATA2, CoolerMaster Praetorian Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB

October 29, 200619 yr Hi Frank,Yes, that is what I thought. As Mace has said, this is a FSX situation and will need more work. It is mentioned in the FSX Compatibility Document. A help is to Enable FS9 Haze in ASv6.5 and restart AS and FSX if it was running. We will see what kind of fixes MS and programmers come up with again.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
