December 30, 200619 yr For some reason, everytime I fly in or out of PHNL, the ATIS gives me a temp of 15C and an altimeter of 2992. This is confirmed by my guages as well. When I check AS6 though, it shows the correct information. Also, the surrounding area contains the correct weather in the sim.Ryan GamurotLucky to live Hawai'ihttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/supporter.jpghttp://www.jdtllc.com/images/rcv4bannersupporter.jpg Ryan Gamurot

December 30, 200619 yr Hi,Does AS recognize that you are at PHNL?I just went there and things worked out fine. Please let us know.Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
December 30, 200619 yr Author I'm not sure how to tell if AS recognizes that I am at PHNL but it does display that as the closest station when I'm there. One thing I forgot to mention is that Radar Contact does give the correct ATIS information. It's just the aircraft and default ATC that shows the wrong information. It was also raining today but the entire Honolulu area was dry.Ryan GamurotLucky to live Hawai'ihttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/supporter.jpg Ryan Gamurot
December 30, 200619 yr Hi Ryan,Please do a uninstall/reinstall cycle to B533. Then see what happens at that station.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
December 30, 200619 yr Author Active Sky still displays the correct information but FS still shows the wrong weather.Ryan GamurotLucky to live Hawai'ihttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/supporter.jpg Ryan Gamurot
December 31, 200619 yr Hi Ryan,If you go to the FS Weather Screen, is User Defined Weather checked?Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
December 31, 200619 yr Author >If you go to the FS Weather Screen, is User Defined Weather>checked?Yes it is. That's actually how I make sure FS and AS6 is connected. But I just flew out of KSFO into PHNL and the Altimeter information is now correct.Ryan GamurotLucky to live Hawai'ihttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/supporter.jpg Ryan Gamurot
January 2, 200719 yr Author I just flew out of PHNL and the Pressure displayed is correct. The temperature is still displaying +15C when it should be about +27C today.Ryan GamurotLucky to live Hawai'ihttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/supporter.jpg Ryan Gamurot
January 9, 200719 yr Commercial Member Hi Ryan,I too am unable to duplicate such effect with temp or pressure. This may have something to do with another weather station in your departure path with different conditions. Since its showing 15 it sounds like either the station is missing in the database or the station is providing bad data. In order to try and duplicate, can you you provide your flight plan so I can confirm the data at all points in this area? Thanks! Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
January 9, 200719 yr Author It's actually any flight in or out of PHNL. The catch is that when I fly out, I get the wrong temp and pressure. On the flight in, I only get the wrong temp. Either way, I always use the MKK4 SID and MAGGI3 STAR with appropriate transitions. I attached my two frequent plans anyway.Ryan GamurotLucky to live Hawai'ihttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/supporter.jpg Ryan Gamurot
January 10, 200719 yr Commercial Member Hi Ryan,It sounds like force constant route pressure/wind settings. How about a look at your ASv6.ini?Best, Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
