January 12, 200719 yr HI Jim, This is by no means a complaint.I have often thoguht it's not possible to make your product any better than what it is but you have always surpassed my expectations with excellant, regular updates...I was just wondering if you have any up-coming ones due? no problem if there isn't.RegardsPaul
January 12, 200719 yr Yes, I'd be interested in any news or updates that Jim or Damien can share with us as well.TGIF ! Regards, Al Jordan | KCAE
January 12, 200719 yr Hi All,The only thing I can share is that we are working on our next version and testing is underway!Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
January 15, 200719 yr Two things that would be super-neat...I mean super super neat......would be even smoother visibility and wind transitions. It's really very good, but there are still a *few* instances of nearby wx reporting stations being radically different, and this seems to be too much for AS's smoothing sometimes. Probably the data is older at one station...but if there is anything additonal that can be done in AS as it relates to this new version of FS, it would be the bees knees...RhettAMD 3700+ (@2310 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2 GB Corsair XMS 2.5-3-3-8 (1T), WD 250 gig 7200 rpm SATA2, CoolerMaster Praetorian case Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB
January 15, 200719 yr Hi Mace,What version of FS are you seeing strong wind transitions?Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
January 17, 200719 yr FSX.I thought we talked about that one a while ago. You said you also saw sudden wind transitions in your FSX, too. It seems most pronounced at high altitudes, but might occur anywhere. Is there some setting I am forgetting about to handle this?RhettAMD 3700+ (@2310 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2 GB Corsair XMS 2.5-3-3-8 (1T), WD 250 gig 7200 rpm SATA2, CoolerMaster Praetorian case Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB
January 17, 200719 yr Hi Mace,Yes, smoothing of anything is not real good right now. We are awaiting a fix from MS.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development Team Active Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/AirSource Member: http://www.air-source.us/FSEconomy Member:http://www.fseconomy.com/
