May 30, 200719 yr John,I have both FS9 and FSX installed and currently use AS6.5 with both. I can no longer find the installation instructions for using AS6.5 with FSX and don't rememeber what I did to get it working. My question is do I have to deactivate or do anything else with AS6.5 or FSX before I install ASX? Don't want to chance buggering things up.Thanks,Ted. May 30, 200719 yr Author John,I forgot that AS6.5 was written for use with FSX. I was looking all over the forums for the FSX installation instructions when they were right in the FS9/modules/AS6 folder all along. I remembered there was some messing with the ini file, so I wanted to make sure that was correct. One other thing, I would still like to use FSUIPC 4.103 for configuration of my flight control devices. I realize that ASX uses simconnect, however will the weather controls in FSUIPC interfere with ASX?Sorry about all the questions, but I finally got FSX operating really well and I don't want to take any chances messing it up.Ted [email protected] ghz, Noctua C12P CPU air cooler, Asus Z77, 2 x 4gb DDR3 Corsair 2200 mhz cl 9, EVGA 1080ti, Sony 55" 900E TV 3840 x 2160, Windows 7-64, FSX, P3dv3, P3dv4
May 30, 200719 yr Commercial Member Hi Ted,FSUIPC should not interfere as long as you're not enabling its weather features.. keep those disabled.Best, Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
