June 13, 200718 yr Hi,Uninstall just SP1 and reinstall it.Please let us know,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
June 13, 200718 yr how do you uninstall just SP1? I've installed it but don't have an option for SP1 in Add/Remove programs. I've only go options for FSX and the FSX SDKKael
June 13, 200718 yr Hi KaelTo see FSX SP1 listed you need to ensure that you have "Show updates" checked in you add/remove programs screen.ThanksCarl Hackmanhttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-dev-sigbanner.jpg
June 13, 200718 yr Thanks Carl,Now just to be clear. You want me to uninstall SP1, then re-install it. That shoudl get rid of my Simconnect problems?Seems very strange. Are you able to elaborate as to why this is required?
June 13, 200718 yr Hi Jim,Actually I did it yesterday. I also temorarly removed SimConnect folder while reinstalling SP1 (via add/remove program with updates option on) thinking that it will create the new file. It neither created the new file nor solved the problem. I put SimConnect folder+file back and tried to reinstall Active Sky - still no go. I'm kind of frustrated. Every time I run Active Sky it give a loop of infinitive numbers of errors in the window like "Object cannot be loaded", "variable cannot be set" and so on.So my understanding that Active Sky for some reason unable to use it. As a last resosrt I can reinstall the whole FSX although I woudn't really like to do it, since I have to reinstall all other products again..Any suggestions at this point?ThanksAndrey
