Active Sky X offline mode

HiJust a couple of questions. 1)Is it possible to start up Active Sky X without connecting to the internet and load a saved weather file or do you need to go online each time?2) Is it possible to load up Active Sky X, start up FSX and then save the flight. The next time you start FSX without Active Sky X enabled, will the previous weather show for the saved flight?3) Do you need Active Sky X to remain open and online when you start up FSX?3) Will the X Gauge only work with Active Sky X open? Many thanks for any response.J

Hi,Thanks for the questions!1. Yes it is. There is an option for Online.2. Save the flight in FSX and save the weather in ASX. When you start again. Load the flight in FSX and the saved weather in ASX.3. Open, yes, but Online No.4. Yes, only with ASX open.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/

>>2. Save the flight in FSX and save the weather in ASX. When>you start again. Load the flight in FSX and the saved weather>in ASX.Will this saved weather be for anywhere in the world I might fly? Or does it only save the local wx?In other words, if I have a saved flight featuring wx in Miami, with showers and 80 degF, if I load that flight without ASX running, and then I fly to Greenland, will my weather change along the way even without ASX running? In other words, does the save flight save the wx snapshot from all over the world, or just the local area?RhettAMD 3700+ (@2585 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2gb Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8 (1T), WD 150 gig 10000rpm Raptor, WD 250gig 7200rpm SATA2, Seagate 120gb 5400 rpm external HD, CoolerMaster Praetorian

No you can't, you would need an internet connection just to simply activate ASN and also you would get no weather downloads either without the connection.

Cheers, Andy.
