November 2, 200718 yr My ASX was not starting for some reason. I tried the repair but it still did not start, so I removed it with hopes of a reinstall would correct it. Now trying to install it I get this error. :(http://img125.imageshack.us/img125/2320/ss0mw1.jpgThis Hobby Just Keeps Getting Better... http://img528.imageshack.us/img528/9352/rob4un8.jpgLife Is Simple: Food-Beer and FSX...Only New School For Me!Take CareRobert
November 3, 200718 yr Hi Robert,Go into your Windows directory and open the Installer folder. Look for a file called asx.msi and delete it. Then try a reinstall.Thanks,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/
November 3, 200718 yr Author Hi Jim, thanks for the come back. :)I found a folder in my windows directory called " Downloaded Installation " I also found a folder with a Windows Installer-paket 46,819kb called Acrive Sky X.msi with it. I think this is the file you are talking about. I removed the file and tried the install again, but the same problem accured. I did a search for the file and nothing came up in the search, so it seems it is gone. Back to square one. Do ya think a complete reintall if FSX would correct this or is it something else. ...maybe I found the wrong file? This Hobby Just Keeps Getting Better... http://img528.imageshack.us/img528/9352/rob4un8.jpgLife Is Simple: Food-Beer and FSX...Only New School For Me!Take CareRobert
