November 25, 200718 yr Flying from RJTT-PHNL I have been experiencing drastic wind changes at cruise altitude about three hrs. into the flight causing the aircraft to overspeed one minute and stall the next, ultimately resulting in the aircraft crashing. I have tried this flight twice with the same results. I have wind smoothing enabled in both FSUIPC and AS. This is with FS9 and AS V6.5 build 522. Are there any other options in AS, FSUIPC or FS I need to enable/ disable to prevent this?Thanks.RPM.
November 25, 200718 yr I use FSUIPC to smooth winds (and pressure) such that the change is one unit (kt) per 5 sec. It helped, but the problem never goes away. Dan Downs KCRP
