February 26, 200818 yr Last time I used ASX I got the following and I have seen this before:I started ASX and it downloaded the weather. The wind for EKSB in ASX was reported as 241/6When I started FSX at EKSB the weather was updated for clouds, pressure and I guess temperatur, but wind was shown as 350/0.Only when I take off and get to the next wind layer at appr 3000 ft, wind seems to update.I have ASX with SP2Running FSX with SP2FSUIPC 4.25 registered "allow changes to FS own weather" unchecked and thus also not enabled the new wind smoothing option in FSUIPC.Later when I tried EKLS where the wind was stronger (225/15), the wind was updated correct.Could it be that the wind is disregarded when it is too calm ?Wothan System: i7-10700K, 32GB RAM, RTX4070 12GB, 1 x 1TB SSD, 2 x 2TB SSD, 1x 2TB HDD, Win10 64bit Home, Meta Quest 3
February 26, 200818 yr Commercial Member Hi,Its most likely due to a nearby station reporting 0 wind speed, and FSX doing its interpolation thing. If you can duplicate this with a specific weather date/time GMT le tus know and we'll take a look. Also make sure you are giving ASX enough time to depict all the weather.. sometimes this can take a few minutes,.Best, Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
February 27, 200818 yr Author Thanks for the reply. The nearest weatherstation at EKSB is actually at EKSB, so that is strange.I will try to give it more time, but how much is a few minutter 2 or 10 min ?Wothan System: i7-10700K, 32GB RAM, RTX4070 12GB, 1 x 1TB SSD, 2 x 2TB SSD, 1x 2TB HDD, Win10 64bit Home, Meta Quest 3
