  1. I guess it´s an SU5 issue - Sometimes it will load properly, most of the time not. The issue appeared to me after updating to SU5. Simply disable and then re-enable Flow Pro on the MSFS2024 Top menu bar.
  2. MSFS2024 SU5 - Parallel 42's Flow Pro causes the second MSFS2024 menu Button inop. With second menu button, I mean the MSFS2024 menu button for "Release Notes", "Config" (Aicraft Selection), etc...
  3. Parallel 42's Flow Pro causes the seconf menu button to become inop. With second menu button, I mean MSFS2024 menu buttons for "Release Notes", "Configure" (Aircraft Selection Menu), etc.
  4. Look here: Honeycomb Bravo Boeing Family Add-Ons | Throttle Mods & Accessories | Pro Desk Sim I have the 737 Advanced Throttles with Speedbrake and Flap lever incl. Gates for both - Quite happy with these.
  5. I don´t think the ILS issue is related to the scenery, but rather to the PMDG Aircraft. I had this a few times bothe at EGSS (Inibuilds) and EKCH (Flytampa). I have done what other have suggested - re-installed the Navdata for the PMDG's from the Navigraph Hub. Some has also suggested to removed the Navigraph-Base Navdata for MSFS2024. This is thee Navdata used as as a replacement of the MSFS2024 default Navdata). Look in the Navigraph HUB under "Simulator Base Packages" -> "AIRAC Cycle 2603 Rev.3" (the one that is current now).
  6. The A340-300 is an older Airbus. It´s a longhaul Aircraft, but can be used on high density routes, just like the A350, which represents the most modern generation of Airbusses. The A340-300 cockpit looks and works very much like the Fenix A320 CEO.
  7. The MD-11 logic and MCDU is much closer to an Airbus than a Boeing.
  8. Simply don't use MSFS ATC. If You really want ATC, then look for Sayintentions.AI or Beyond ATC.
  9. Still down in Denmark....
  10. Maybe watch this Youtube video why the new PMDG 737 falls short: I bit exaggerated in my view, but PMDG are no longer holding the crown when it comes to "study level" Airliners. Many other developers has catched up and in many areas overtaken them, especially taking the pricing into consideration.
  11. The thing for me is that every time a new Airliner is released, both as a total new or an upgrade to what we had in MSFS2020, I always got back to the Fenix A320. The reason is that it is still the most finished and complete Airliner in MSFS2024. Everything just works, Sayintentions CPDLC/AOC, GSX (fully automatic - no micromanagement), and stability wise it's just rock solid - no WASM crashes or the like.
  12. Maybe start 20 min's earlier in the sim and then increase sim rate to 4 or 8x inorder for the grround to "collect" the snow. Just a possible workaround for something that should be instant.
  13. It actually seems that Active Sky in Passive mode doesn´t add snow cover. From Hifi Sim: Depiction Mode Constraints: The ground snow cover control feature is available exclusively in the ASFS Preset weather depiction mode. In Passive mode, which relies on MSFS's internal live weather depiction, ASFS does not control snow coverage. Sorry if I gave someone hope 😞
  14. If You have Active sky, You can set it to passive mode. Here is the description of AS passive mode: In MSFS2024, Active Sky's Passive Mode lets the default simulator handle the visual weather depiction (clouds, precipitation), while Active Sky (AS) injects its enhanced atmospheric data, providing realistic wind, turbulence (Active Air Effects), temperature, and other conditions, bridging the gap between default Live Weather and full AS control for a more immersive experience without overriding MSFS visuals. It's ideal for getting detailed weather effects like thermals and clear air turbulence that default weather lacks, while still enjoying MSFS's native graphics. Also it will add better snow coverage.
  15. Yeah it´s some years ago now... It´s main issue was that it´s ground handling was quite aggresive, again something rooted in FSX's weird Turboprop modelling.
  16. It was not meant as negative critisism, just a headsup that the JS41 wasn+t quite as advanced code wise hat we are used to from PMDG when it comes to simulating it´s engines. Most people never noticed. I only did so cause I coded the Aerosoft OV-10 Bronco, which also had geared turboprops. We actually got a tad closer to simulate these kind of Turboprops. They still used the FSX internal free turbine turboprop model, but we disguised these with more realistic spool up animations of the propellers.
  17. In my eyes the PMDG JS41 wasn´t that good. IRL being a geared turboprop, in FSX it simply worked like a free turbine, very evident during startup. Offcourse at that time a proper Turboprop model didn´t exist. In FSX the underlying Turboprop modelling was based on The PT-6 (free turbine) and not much could be done with that. With MSFS2024, this might be different. Personally I would like either a proper ATR or the Dash-8 (Q400).
  18. Right now the Inibuilds A340-300 1.0.4 has problems that makes it hard to enjoy it. -Numerous MCDU issues, like Pilot waypoints and Secondary flightplan etc. -Winwing MCDU does not work anymore (SimApp v .71) - only when selecting the FO MCDU in SimApp. -AOC -> WX is inop. - Simbrief loadout with GSX dos not load properly. Actual Simbrief loadout numbers are not loaded into the Aircraft and Fueling is a mess. Fueling only start when Passengers are loaded and I go into the EFB GSX manual menu.
  19. The reason that SID, STARS and Approaches aren´t in the Flightplan is, that these in Real life are given by ATC. SID and departure runway are given by ATC when You request Your IFR clearance. STAR, approach and arrival runway are given by ATC shortly before estimated descend. You can always prepare the STAR and Approach to what's most like You will be given, which is also what You can see in Your Simbrief flightplan, but be prepared for that it might change.
  20. Try these methods: Method 1: Manual Import Export from SimBrief: After building your flight plan on SimBrief, export it. The TDS GTNXi can import Garmin Flight Plan files (.gfp). Locate the file: Find the exported .gfp file on your computer. Import into GTN750xi: In the simulator, open the GTN750xi. Go to the "Flight Plan" page. Tap the "Menu" button at the bottom. Select "Import". Navigate to and select your .gfp file. Confirm the import when prompted. Method 2: Automatic Import (with SimBrief Downloader) This method uses the SimBrief Downloader to automatically place your exported flight plans into the GTN750xi's "SD CARD" folder, making them available for import directly within the simulator. Install the SimBrief Downloader: Download and install the SimBrief Downloader. Configure the Downloader: In the Downloader settings, configure the avionics directories and point the "TDS FPL FOLDER LOCATION" to the correct directory where the GTN750xi looks for flight plans (usually a specific folder on your "SD CARD"). Ensure there is at least one .gfp file in the folder to prevent errors when importing new flights. Export from SimBrief: Export your flight plan from SimBrief. The Downloader should automatically download the .gfp file to the specified folder. Import in simulator: In the simulator, access the GTN750xi, navigate to the "Flight Plan" page, and you should see the flight plan available for import, often under the "Import Now" option or by navigating to the "catalog". Recommendations Use the Pro Upgrade: For the most accurate and seamless experience, use the TDS GTNXi Pro Upgrade. This allows you to use up-to-date navdata from Navigraph, which prevents issues with missing waypoints or procedures when importing flight plans from SimBrief. Understand the file format: Ensure your flight plan is exported in the correct format (.gfp) for the TDS GTNXi to import it correctly.
  21. Not quite right... The 850 mode is a torque limiter that when not engaged (Flap lever is not in the 850 Gate) limits torque to 105% at sea level . When engaged (Flap lever fully up in the 850 Gate) torque can be set beyond 105% for enhanced performance. Your description of Beta mode is not quite right either. Beta range is the power lever range between flight idle and full reverse and controls the Propeller pitch. Some Turboprop has a low and high idle setting for the condition lever, wich controls fuel scheduling for the engines, used for taxi.
  22. I'm sorry to say.... I have reverted to Fly Tampas EKCH with the mod, since I don't find Simnords EKCH to be finished. I have almost all other Simnords Airports and are happy about them, but this one does not quite live up to my expectations.
  23. Simnord (formerly known as Vidan design) has been around for a long time, making Danish Airports for FSX, P3D and MSFS. As far as I know is it a one person team. I have EKSB, EKBI, EKAH, EKYT and EKRN from him and they are very good, FPS friendly and overall professional. I have Fly Tampas EKCH, but will definitly switch to this one now it seems to have been released. John (the developer) also provides excellent support in the Simnord forum. https://www.simnord.com/en/ https://www.simnord.com/forum/
  24. Xbox PC app said "Update" and I clicked on it. Now it´s just telling "Preparing" an stuck at 0% **Edit** I restarted the Xbox PC app and now it´s downloading... (Crossing fingers - with Asobo / MS You never know)
  25. Well those who dislike it are free to choose not buying it. Those who find it interesting are fre to buy it. I see no point argueing whether one should buy it or not.
