November 21, 2025Nov 21 Flying it right now. So far, so good. Massive change log, just like the a350 which also got a massive update today. I was just getting ready to fly the new 350 when I saw Tuskin’s post and well…could not resist the 340 cuz it, me, and my WINWING MDCU, FCU, and EFIS have a rendezvous with destiny. Wish me luck! Edit: MDCU froze as I was typing this. Fortunately my switched/powered USB3 hub makes it come back to life with a push of a switch but that’s NOT how it’s supposed to work. Bummer, will see how the rest of flight goes -B Edited November 21, 2025Nov 21 by btacon

Blue skies, -B Stay on .70 if you can. It works with .71 but something on the SAP side is causing only the FO MDCU to function. We've notified WW and they plan to issue a fix in the next SAP update.

We've notified WW and they plan to issue a fix in the next SAP update. Will do. You should also know that after downloading and installing 1.0.4 I immediately took it for a test flight. Within 10 min the MCDU froze. It reset with a cycle of my powered USB hub but that was not the solution that I desired so I gave it some thought. It came to me that the only thing I had yet to try in the 340 was to clear the WASM folder. That is something I routinely do for all my other iniBuilds aircraft and I have them all but I have never done this for the 340. So I found the WASM folder, cleared out it out and after restarting my 3+ hour test flight I let the airplane fly by itself. I checked on it every 30 min or so and each time the MCDU was fine and completely functional…until the last time at about 2+40 into the flight. That’s not the 10+ hour flight you shared with me the other day but it is the longest stretch in my many, many hours in this plane and I can live with this, for now at least LoL. I look forward to continued refinement from both iniBuilds and WINWING. Blue skies Steve and thanks.

May I ask, if you knew there was a problem why did you release this product. Can you also explain why it wasn't like that on the first released version, if its anything to do with streaming?
