Nice - the FlyTampa version is a bit long in the tooth, and it doesn't work well with FS2024.

I don't have it yet, but I will be getting it.

(The used to be called Vidan Design, and they go back at least to FSX)

They actually make pretty nice sceneries. Their renditions of EKYT and EKBI are well made. I think I'd purchase this one, as the FlyTampa is a little outdated...

Watching for feedback on this one as is can't get the Flytampa version to work with 2024. 

To be honest though, probably wouldn't purchase it unless it appears on Orbx, Inibuilds or Contrail. I hate having my purchases spread across heaps of different stores... I struggle to keep track of what I've bought from where!

The ground textures look fine to me. Copenhagen has very messy and mixed surface apron areas. I can't vouch for the accuracy of the terminal though.

LOL I just bought Flytampa’s version and just finally got it to work in 2024! Doh! Should have known better as Flytampa is now abandonware… sad.

Simnord (formerly known as Vidan design) has been around for a long time, making Danish Airports for FSX, P3D and MSFS.

As far as I know is it a one person team.

I have EKSB, EKBI, EKAH, EKYT and EKRN from him and they are very good, FPS friendly and overall professional.

I have Fly Tampas EKCH, but will definitly switch to this one now it seems to have been released.

John (the developer) also provides excellent support in the Simnord forum.

I would be reluctant to replace the FlyTampa version of the airport, as it is very detailed. This is more important to me than strict 2025 accuracy. Of course, it will need to work in MSFS 2024 if/when I make the switch.

If you use FlyTampas version in 2020, there is a mod on flightsim.to that brings it more up-to-date.

I'm not sure if posting a link here is appropriate, but look for "EKCH Kastrup - Update to FlyTampa EKCH" by chansen.

I'm sorry to say....

I have reverted to Fly Tampas EKCH with the mod, since I don't find Simnords EKCH to be finished.

I have almost all other Simnords Airports and are happy about them, but this one does not quite live up to my expectations.

What doesn't live up to your expectations? Please give some examples of what's wrong? I haven't bought MS2024 yet, so I can't test it, but whenever I buy MS2024, it will be one of the first addons I will buy, so it would be nice to know what's wrong with it.

 

Customer reviews I've read so far (e.g. on Simmarket) are below average, which considering the price clearly says: No buy.
