As long as you follow the instructions on the linked page, TextureOptimizer works great in my experience. I use it to make 2048 and 1024 sets for FSLTL.

I bought the 736 directly from PMDG, but the 738 from the Marketplace, when it was on sale. I can install liveries for both from the PMDG Operations Center. Updates for the 736 can also be installed from the Ops Center, but for the 738 I have to wait a couple of weeks until the update is released to the Marketplace.

My hand slipped and I accidentally pre-purchased aviator Store version. 😎 (I have had no issues with my 2020 Store version, so I didn't want to change.).

Summer here is quite Danish at the moment, with sun and rain. 😄 No stress whatsoever Henrik, I just thought it could be a valid test point. For the record, I made a fresh MSFS installation after SU5 hotfix (MS Store version) hoping that this would alleviate the issue, but the result is exactly the same as with my "old" installation. I have a slightly annoying issue with GAIST post SU5, even after the hotfix, it is repeatable and happens even with GAIST as the only community mod. The ships work just as fine as before, but the sim crashes on exit to desktop. My quick-and-dirty "test scenario" is flying the Icon A5 east from EKNB Nordborg, spotting a ship (or two), and land again at EKNB.

As far as I know the UTX license is not the same for FSX and P3D, you may need to update.

Tried the Extra300 Rich, regardless of whether on the ground or airborne the spot plane stays nicely put, and I can't see any random zooming or other weirdness going on, sorry. I waited in eager anticipation for several minutes, but nothing!

Nah, I kinda guessed that. :smile: Anyway, just tested here with the stock F22, and the spot view doesn't seem to make the strange manoeuver you describe. Weird.

Tried locked spot view instead? :wink:

Well it's more important that the gauge works like before (maybe it even works as intended, hehe ...) than whether the v3 error checker thinks it's the epitome of XML cleanliness. :wink:

Nah I'm quite happy with mine. :smile: I did more or less the same as you, and put all my freeware there.

It has been suggested just to turn off error logging and be happy about it, most of the errors are more like "I'm not entirely sure what to do with this ..." than "This will cause your aircraft to have 6 wings!" anyway. I'm not even certain that the elements are parsed differently than in previous versions at all. I don't see much harm in keeping the logging on though, all I see from it is just a dialog box that pops up when I exit the sim.
