Spot View Zooming issue

Featured Replies

Hi Guys:

Not sure whats going on but have an issue when in spot plane view the aircraft abruptly zooms out then back in on its own every 30 seconds consistently cant figure out why

This is a new install of V3 on a new windows 10 fresh install - did it on my last windows 10 install over windows 7 also

Just to clarify V2.5 on windows 10 did not do this - stumped on this one

Tried locked spot view instead?

Nah, I kinda guessed that.

Anyway, just tested here with the stock F22, and the spot view doesn't seem to make the strange manoeuver you describe. Weird.

Thanks try the alabeo extra 300 and see what happens just let it set about 30 seconds in external view from 3/4 rear view - thanks

Tried the Extra300 Rich, regardless of whether on the ground or airborne the spot plane stays nicely put, and I can't see any random zooming or other weirdness going on, sorry.

I waited in eager anticipation for several minutes, but nothing! :cray:

Just bought Carenado 406 - excellent aircraft no zoom problem with this - thats good maybe its not an issue with payware as this is my first install of a payware aircraft - holds true i'm fine with it - it will come out in the wash eventually

I have a similar peculiar problem.  It works normal for most time..and then when I start flight sim and load a flight, it is zoomed in so much... When I "-" back I get it to reasonable zoom...but its like the max .3 zoom reached.  Even in VC I have to zoom out to the max to have a reasonable view

I exited it out of the sim and came back.. now I am unable to reset it to normal.. not sure what is going on... I am not using EZDOK either.

Edited: I just noticed that "WideViewAspect" is reset to false? Why? Why does it do that?

I reset it back..
