December 24, 200223 yr My FS2002 multiplayer hasnt been working for awhile now, and I think this is the problem, in the directxdiag, everything is fine except for part of the network tab as shown below. How do I go about repairing or adding the info it needs?****************************************PIII 850MHz384MB DDR SDRAM40GB 7200RPM HDCD-RW driveVisiontek Xtasy GeForce 2 MX400 64MB PCIWindows MECable modemhttp://www.flightsimnetwork.com/dcforum/Us...d9845252b07.jpgAirliners.net Photos]CYYJ[/b
December 24, 200223 yr Have you tried to reinstall DirectX? Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
December 24, 200223 yr Yes I have!!:( I don't think the problem is directly related to the DX files but to the directplay registries or what it says on the shot.****************************************PIII 850MHz384MB DDR SDRAM40GB 7200RPM HDCD-RW driveVisiontek Xtasy GeForce 2 MX400 64MB PCIWindows MECable modemhttp://www.flightsimnetwork.com/dcforum/Us...d9845252b07.jpgAirliners.net Photos]CYYJ[/b
December 24, 200223 yr Oh ok! That was my first thought though. I think DirectPlay is a part of DirectX. Well, then I'm out of suggestions. Unfortunately :( Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|

December 24, 200223 yr Do you have an Icon on your desktop labelled Network Neighborhood. If not, check in Control Panel for Network. If on the desktop, right click it and select properties and review what Clients, Adapters, Protocol, and Services you have listed. After writing down all the items you have, you could try deleting them, reboot your computer, then reinstalling them again to see if it places them in your registry. If you are using AOL or some other ISP, you may have their adapters and protocols and you would need to reinstall them from their CDs, so be careful what you are doing. In any case, you will need your WinME CD, if the WinME *.cab files are not installed on your computer hardrive.Below is a list of the items on my Win98SE computer:Client for Microsoft NetworksMicrosoft Family LogonDial-Up AdapterNETGEAR FA310TX Fast Ethernet PCI Adapter - your name may be differentIPX/SPX-compatible Protocol -> Dial-Up AdapterIPX/SPX-compatible Protocol -> NETGEAR....NetBEUI -> Dial-Up AdapterNetBEUI -> NETGEAR....NETBIOS support for IPX/SPX-compatible ProtocolTCP/IP -> Dial-Up AdapterTCP/IP -> NETGEAR....File and printer sharing for Microsoft NetworksMy Primary Network Logon: is set to Microsoft Family Logon Bill Sieffert
December 24, 200223 yr Author Moderator The problem is caused by using directx buster. If you do the default uninstall, it removes ALL the application registry entries and you will get the errors you show. Reinstall 8.2. Double check to see if the entries have been replaced. Then use DxBuster again and uncheck the oiptions relating to the registry. this will leave your applications alone. then reinstall 8.1 or 9 or whatever.hth, vgb RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
