Hi AndrewWhy bother? You'll never see it unless you call it up with the icon or key shortcut. Or are you looking to install a better one. ;-)Here's how: Open the panel.cfg in Notepad. Scroll down to the GPS section and remark out the Window08 and the GPS gauge by placing // in front of them, like this:(note - I had to leave the brackets out below, or the forum will not show the entries.)// ----------------GPS------------------// Window08size_mm=258,388position=8BACKGROUND_COLOR=16,16,16sizeable=1visible=0ident=10008//gauge00=gps!gps, 0,0,258,388Save the file as a plain text file and that's all there is to it. The guage itself, being a default MS one, is not in the MAAM gauge set. Anything marked this way in the panel.cfg will be removed. Putting it back is a simple matter of deleting the slashes and resaving the panel.cfg. Bill Rambow MAAM-SIM - Rambow, Visser, Banting, and Younghttp://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/maamsim_logo.gif

Yeah I am going to remove it. I probably would be tempted and get lazy and use it. I want to try and fly around the world handflying and using strictly navaids. So I was going to remove for this trip.Well I will see how it goes anyway. Thanks BillAndrew
