Its a program that adds a lot of realism to FS 9.drop flaps at high speed and get damage, over rev the engines for too long and engine can loose power overheat or blow up, when blowing up can take control cables or other stuff with it.Land too hard or fly too fast and get surfaces damaged or gear damagedtake a look here.http://www.flytechsoft.comWhat I need is to know the limits of the B 25 so I put them in the program.Flap deploy speed limits, gear, speed, RPMS. ect

Could I ask you to use your name, please. I like to know who I'm talking to and have never been fond of, "Hey you" ;-)OK, looks like an interesting program. Much of what you need will be found on BT's extensive kneeboard reference pages compiled by Howard Sodja from actual B-25 manuals. But a great deal more is available to you. If you are a BT CD owner, the Pilot Training Manual for the B-25 is included. Our B-25J Mitchell Multi-Media CD has several more genuine B-25 manuals, as well as videos and photographs. It sells for $10 from the museum website, www.maam.org. The best deal in town is the new BT FS2004 CD / Multi-Media package deal. Both CD's for $39.95, shipped anywhere in the world.Bill Rambow MAAM-SIM - Rambow, Visser, Banting, Young, Womack, and Hamblyhttp://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/maamsim_logo.gif

Gee, I was thinking the same thing. Err, don't usually reply to a thread like this. --> Read the manual and fly the plane. You will find out what the limits are.Frenchy -- out.

My name is Larry. Is not a matter of just fly the plane and see Fenchy. This is exactly the info I need:Maximum Flaps Speed : In this window you must enter the speed limit values of all flap positions in KIAS.Example: if there is 180 kts defined for the second flap position, pilot shall extend the flaps to the second position below this speed, otherwise Alert !! will note his mistake and will induce a failure in the flaps system. If it occurs, pilot will no longer be able to move the flaps, because they are jammed. VLO : Here you can define the Maximum Gear Operating Speed. If the pilot operates gears beyond this speed limit, gears will break away and he must perform an emergency land without gears. VLE : Here you can define the Maximum Landing Gear Extension Speed, the maximum speed with extended gears. If the pilot extends or leave gears extended beyond this speed limit, gears will break away and he must perform an emergency land without gears. Maximum Engine RPM : In the first field you must define the rpm of the engines, over which the engine will suffer damages. At jet engines it must be defined in N1 %, at other engines it must be in RPM. In the second field you can define how long can the pilot operate the engines over the maximum RPM in seconds. Example: The aircraft in the example is a 737-400, so maximum rpm must be defined in N1%. Enter 102 into the first field and 20 to the second field. This means, that if we operate the engines beyond 102% N1 for more than 20 seconds, engines will damage or even can explode. Maximum Landing Weight : You must enter the maximum landing weight in pounds. If the landing weight is heavier than the maximum, the plane can be uncontrollable at landing and the landing gears will damage. Hard Landing check (Maximum VS when landing) : There is a maximum vertical speed value for each aircraft at touchdown. If the vertical speed is over this value (hard landing), it will cause damages in the landing gears. At landing with a higher vertical speed than approved, landing gears will blow up, so steering and keeping the plane on the runway can be quite difficult. Alert !! is generating the damage of the gears automatically, so the caused damage will depend on the land. Tyres can blow out at each side, or both side even. If the vertical speed is more than 30% over the maximum value, not only the tires can blow out, but the whole landing gear can break away, that usually causes catastrophe.G-Force Check : In the reality there is a g-limit for each aircraft. If you pull more g

The name is GZR_Frenchy. --- accurately speaking. I do not know Fenchy. But, I am sure he is a nice guy. If they are one and the same it is a good chance they both love to fly this B-25. After almost 45,000 miles in this plane it is most pleasant to post that it is a very remarkable model. If you follow the little tags in the cockpit they will tell you when and not to drop flaps, landing gear etc. They are black/silver tags. Yep. Just the way they made them back then. Have never had the tyres blow out because it is a gentle bird to land. But, then most of my Sim Flying has been in combat with Corsairs.Perhaps this is a little simplistic. Frenchy -- out.
