Repaints?

Featured Replies

Folks,I wonder when repaints will start appearing of the new DC-3? I am in high anticipation of a Bush Flying Unlimited repaint of the cargo hauler and for that matter a BFU of the passenger configuration would be great, as well.Does anybody have any skills in this area?ThanksWilson HinesUAL006VHQCCSenior Vice President, Corporate Communicationshttp://virtual.united.com --------------------------------------Proficiencies: PSS 747,777, A32x, CS 727,PMDG 737-700---------------------------------------FS2002|ActiveSky|FSRealTime|FSBuild2|FSNav|Jep SimCharts2|ACLoaderhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/checkcapt.jpghttp://heavylhc.com/images/av/anna.jpg

Mark Beaumont has done some repaints for DC3 Airways, which are already available and I understand that he and/or Jan are working on a paintkit for the aircraft.Once that appears, I'm sure you'll start seeing repaints and from past experience, BFU never takes that long to appear... ;-)Ian P.BTBT Gopher and Random Beer Crate Rotator:-halo

My goodness, your post is deformed!Anyway, Jan already has a D-Day striped bird on the drawing board. We might be able to persuade him to post a preview?Bill Rambow MAAM-SIM - Rambow, Visser, Banting, Young, Womack, and Hamblyhttp://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/maamsim_logo.gif

I plan on painting this bird. A lot. I have already started and I don't have the plane or a paint kit yet.

Hi there,While we at it, can I pursuade Jan to make a "Doornroosje" livery?David

Hi there!I would very much like to make a MAAM SIM version of my "tico Belle" repaint of the default DC-3:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/81749.jpgBut I am waiting for Mr. Visser to finish a suitable model for this former RDAF bird. And I would be very glad to hear when we can expect to see the repaint kit too :-)Best regards

Hi Ed...You're too modest! I have many of your other repaints.. they're all first class!I'd love to see you do a Reeve livery for the DC-3... that would be awesome...Regards,Ted Panamarioff - Kodiak, Alaska

Aw, c'mon Guys you gotta have this one!Who served Reading back in the old days. When I worked part-time for Allegheny this paint job came through TTN as flt 335 EWR-TTN-PHL-RDG-LNS-AOO-JST-PITThis airplane inspired me to apply full time when I came off active duty.My airline career spanned 31 years from the lovable DC-3 to the Boeing 737-400 workhorse.Don't tell me I'm the only senimentallist out there.Let's see someone do a beautiful repaint for 2K2.
