June 25, 200421 yr I have tried several times to play the videos from within the Manual. It never worked. The best I got was a voice and a black rectangle. However, by selecting the files in the directory, the Media Player is correctly invoked and the video is presented. What might be wrong with my installation or procedure?Regards,
June 25, 200421 yr Commercial Member I'm not sure what that might be. Is anyone else seeing this, or have an idea? What version of MSIE do you have?Bill Rambow MAAM-SIM - Rambow, Visser, Banting, Young, Womack, and Sodjahttp://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/maamsim_logo.gif Bill Rambow MAAM-SIM www.maam.org
June 26, 200421 yr Yeah I got the same trouble. Clicking on the link in the HTML help file does nothing. There is just a blank square where I assume thet there should be a picture of some sort.I can play the media file by clicking on it though. Just seems to be a problem with the HTML file.
June 26, 200421 yr Unfortunately, I can only get the audio (and not the video) both in the HTML file and when running it directly in Windows Media Player. I have Windows XP Home with the service pack. These are the first media files which have not worked for me in XP.Les
June 26, 200421 yr Author I have Windows XP Home and IE 6.0. As far as I know both XP and IE are updated.Regards,
June 26, 200421 yr LOL....if I put the cursor over the blank black video image, it will start to play. If I do that with all the videos, they ALL will play at the same time...audio and video. As neat as that is....it makes it hard to hear what the guy is saying :) I thought you should only be able to view one at a time.Bruno
June 26, 200421 yr Author Yeah, I get a "Babel Tower" if I select different rectangles, but only the voice, as the video never shows! As I said in my initial post, I get Media Player to show both the image and sound if I double click the file directly in the directory.
