April 7, 200620 yr Is there a CP Air repaint of the MAAM DC3?! And if not, can someone do one up for me :) Registration should be CF-CRX.Bruce
April 8, 200620 yr Commercial Member Hi Bruce,Check out the Free Stuff Page http:/www.maam.org/flightsim/enhance/enhance.htm All of the repaints are there. Also, since the team is tied up with other work, your best bet is to ask one of the repainters whose work you admire to do it. Most of the repaints have readme.txt files with the author's e-mail address.Bill RambowMAAM-SIM http://www.fssupport.com/maam/maamsim_neon.gif Bill Rambow MAAM-SIM www.maam.org

May 15, 200620 yr Ok....so now I am asking. Please, please, please, someone do the MAAM DC3 in CP Air livery.Bruce
May 18, 200620 yr Ah yes, but I meant the metal with orange/red. Something like this (Only proper red colour):http://www.cpairva.com/pics/CP_Orange.jpgThat is done for the default FS9, now would like to see it done for MAAM DC3. Thanks.Bruce(FS9 DC3 pic from Owen Davies repaint)
July 14, 200619 yr I slapped this one together but I'm working on the original scheme which was a white top with red stripes and the Canadian Pacific in a thick black script which was actually used by CP Air on DC-3'sGeorge "Alky George Fisher FS Economy - Gives You a Reason to Fly Virtually
July 14, 200619 yr The CP Air Orange/Red/Silver is exactly what I was looking for. Can I get the repaint on Avsim???Bruce

Like I said I just slapped it together, grand total of about an hour invested :)I'll go have a detailed look at it and see if I can ensure it's of MAAM quality first before I give it to anyone :) George "Alky George Fisher FS Economy - Gives You a Reason to Fly Virtually
August 22, 200619 yr Hi George.....just wonderring how you are making out with the CP Air repaints? :)Bruce
September 4, 200619 yr >Hi George.....just wonderring how you are making out with the>CP Air repaints? :)>>BruceSorry Bruce, I had a computer meltdown and lost all of my recent projects. I've got everything re-installed and up and running but haven't started to "re-do" those projects. Every time I think I should the ambition drains away LOL. I will get to it eventually. I'd like to do the orange version as well as the vintage red striped version. Maybe it could be a package (?)Thanx for the interest, it helps to stir up the juices LOL.George "Alky George Fisher FS Economy - Gives You a Reason to Fly Virtually
September 4, 200619 yr George, have you dug up any good colour pics of the orange/red livery? The link in your post is the first. My paint on the first page of this thread was an aproximation made from modern day CP jets. I've searched CP pages for any examples of historical DC-3's with that scheme but found only the white top version with the red horizontal stripes. I could be wrong, but I don't think there were any official CP Air red/orange schemes on a DC-3 (?)George "Alky George Fisher FS Economy - Gives You a Reason to Fly Virtually
