Service pack 2 issue

Featured Replies

I installed service pack 2 for FSX and now the VC in my Maam Sim DC-3 is useless. I can no longer see out of the cockpit windows. The regular cockpit is OK, but the VC has a blue/grey cast to the plexiglass and it appears to have a double layer. Is there a fix for this available? I tried a system restore, but that wiped out the ground textures. Overall, the graphics seem better, however I would like the VC back in the DC-3. Based on my experience it might be best to avoid service pack 2 until they get their act together better.

Uninstall it, I have and you will get everything back again.I can only see advantages for DX10 users in this typical MS mess.

Thanks so much Tim. Just installed SP2 last night, and the MAAM DC-3 was one of the first aircraft I checked....I was bit 'sunken hearted', so I can't tell you how much I liked seeing your post!DC-3, here I come baby! :D(That old bird just can't be killed-off....even in FS :) )

Just got home, installed the texture patches, and everything is 'back to normal'. Thanks guys for keeping the old bird current.....the DC-3 still lives in FSX. ;)
