March 15, 200818 yr This has to be simple guy's, but for whatever reason it has me stumped.Every time I fly the DC-3 in FSX, the logbook is classifying it as an amphibian, not a fixed wing. Where in the heck within the .cfg's can I fix this?I was racking up quite a few amphibian hours, to my surprise :D

March 16, 200818 yr Author Bill, I have many many re-paints, so thought I may have gotten something mixed up somewhere, but re-checked again last evening, and cannot find where this designation comes from, unless it is actually embedded in the .mdl file of the aircraft itself. But that does not seem to make sense either, does it? That is a completely different model file, and as far as I know, there has been no specific updates to the .mdl files for FSX.....Anyway, really enjoying my DC-3 tour through Europe in the DC-3. After all these years, I still love this aircraft, and can't wait for the re-built FSX release.;)
March 26, 200818 yr It could be something that slipped into the MDL that had no meaning in FS9 but indicated "floater" in FSX.A single byte in a file header could do it.Mind I've no idea where this is set, but that means I can't discount the possibility.
