March 11, 200422 yr Hi all,I have just upgraded my computer and have my HD partitioned for C & D.I want to put FS9 on drive D, could anyone tell me if I will run into any problems by installing everything to this drive. Will there be any problems running the installer. ThanksArnold
March 11, 200422 yr Hi Arnold,You'll not have any problems. I run all my sims on D (partition). You will have to point the installer to that partition... and all subsequent installers for add-ons and the like.No performance increase by running the sim on a seperate partition, but I find it easier to organize the sim and it's add-ons.Hope this helps,
March 11, 200422 yr As Greg said, you should have no problems.Just remember that some 3rd party apps may "default" to c: drive on install, so you will need to tell those installers where your install is. Most modern installers should be able to read the registry to find the install path, however.
March 11, 200422 yr I have my system set up with hard drives partitioned as C-K with Flight Sim installed in drive I: and there is no problem.scott s..
