March 22, 200422 yr Did anyone read the results and notice FS2002 was used for the tests? Seems odd since most of us are using FS2004. Cant understand why they did that. Was of no benefit to me at all.Bill
March 23, 200422 yr I have to agree with you. I wonder why there are so few people who include FS2004 for their hardware reviews.Robb
March 23, 200422 yr Author Especially since FS9 is so power hungry...I will be in the market for a new PC soon and was hoping for some incite.AVSIM should have mentioned that in their teaserBill
March 24, 200422 yr hi Guys, imho, Bubba's last few reviews have become somewhat ho hum. i too noticed that the last 2-4 CPU's he's reviewed for whatever reason he's used fs2k2 instead of fs9. he hasn't reviewed a graphics card in i don't know how long. fs9 definitely eats more CPU cycles. probably wouldn't make the new CPU's look to good. not that 200-400 more mghz. is going to make a difference in FS anyway. happy flyin, fm
March 26, 200422 yr HardOCP has started using FS2004 as a benchmark for graphics cards (but not processors).Examples :MSI FX5900XT Reviewhttp://www.hardocp.com/article.html?art=NTk5LDU=Enjoy,Ian
March 26, 200422 yr Author Thanks for the link Ian but it does no good with a review of CPU's. We are into FS9 and users would like to see reviews made around that.Bill
