June 10, 200421 yr I'd look at the video card first. The CPU speed is OK - going to a 3Ghz chip will help framerates some but the change won't be dramatic (maybe 10-15%). HyperThreading won't help and may, in fact, slow things down a bit. RAID will make no difference at all (but the second drive is a good idea anyway just for backup and peace-of-mind). The RAM is fine and a switching to a faster HDD won't make a noticeable performance change. But the video card is killing you :-) . Replace that with a 9800 Pro, or newer, and you'll be a much happier simmer.Doug Intel 10700K @ 5.1Ghz, Asus Hero Maximus motherboard, Noctua NH-U12A cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 32GB 3200 MHz RAM, RTX 2060 Super GPU, Cooler Master HAF 932 Tower, Thermaltake 1000W Toughpower PSU, Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit, 100TB of disk storage. June 11, 200421 yr Agree with most but RAID do make wonders for load times ;)You can go two ways. You can get a WD RAPTOR for windows and applications. You can have the second harddrive you already got in your sig and partition it so you have the swap file on the first partition and have the second partition for all kind of junk that don
