September 13, 200421 yr Does the X800 pro (256M) require less power consumption than its lesser 9800 pro? I read that somewheres. I do not want to upgrade my PSU I already have a generic 450W, not as good as an Altec TruePower 430, but works fine so far.And would I get a better fps around airports? This is where I found the 9800 pro lacking, when it dipped to the lower teens and occasionally below 10. Elsewhere, it travelled fast at 35++ depending/...allen

September 14, 200421 yr Exactly there is some insane crappy 450 W PSU out there. It depends on your 12 V line. The X800 PRO non overclocked do use less power than an 9800 PRO but not very much less so :). But then X800 PRO:s is splendid overclockers. But you may very well be fine I would guess so. Don
