September 20, 200421 yr Obviously, the sarcasm of my quoting you escapes you.Fact of the matter is there are a number of variables involved. Are the moddable Pro VIVOs nothing more than failed XT PE's? Could be, yet there are a number of them that perform quite well at PE speeds (and faster)... mine is proof ot that fact. Yet another possibility is that manufacturers stuffed some PE capable cards in Pro boxes to meet retailer orders (backorders would be a better description). And then there is the issue of system configurations... and all the possibilties that presents. One thing for sure, though, is that there are plenty of modded Pro VIVO cards that are humming along at PE speeds. Sadly, statements like "don

September 20, 200421 yr Still waiting for valid proof of your claim...And please, please don't link to benchmarks. They will tell us nothing about specific and in depth system configs (hardware, MB BIOS, video card BIOS, PSU, peripherals, cooling, etc). Nor will the benchies tell us anything about each system's software config. Links to forum posts on the subject are no better than benchmarks... they simply can't tell us enough.Scientific proof of your claim.Greg
September 20, 200421 yr No no benchmark just people who got them and flashed them. Now these is serious overclockers that will have gone past several X800 video cards already :)People I talk to who I know what they are doing. These people also kill hardware at a faster rate than any usual computer user but that
September 20, 200421 yr Kittie, I hope you don't mind if I come in a little OT? But you've got an Asus/Via mobo. In your bios' memory settings department, there's a 'switch' called '2T Command.' Choices are '1T,' '2T' and 'Disabled.' Disable it and try FS. If it's not already set so, it could/should help. Bonne chance and kind regards Jaap PS: IMHO, you wouldn't gain anything from swapping your display adapter @ 1280x
September 20, 200421 yr Stian,I would like to edit my earlier comments somewhat. All of the info I furnished in my earlier post is still valid except after seeing your problem, I began seeing the same thing with all of my aircraft. I fixed my problem my changing my display settings as follows:Go into the display settings. Click on the Direct3d Tab and then click on Compatibility Settings. Disable Support DXT textures and Alternate Pixel Center. I had both of these enabled. All of my aircraft are now clear as all get out. Hope this fixes your problem.Jim Young
September 20, 200421 yr Nope not opinion fact ;). Those people know how to benchmark much more then me :)
