September 22, 200421 yr Hey Guys, Well im currently in college and between jobs to boot. So money is tight. But, I have been wanting both rudder pedals and a throttle quadrant for years but can only cough up enough money for one at the moment:(. Anyhow, Right know I have a CH Flight Sim Yoke with 5 Axis(I think) it has one throttle, Mixture, and Propellor on top. I Fly mostly the POSKY A340, 757, and IFDG MD11. And for small flights I use an ATR 72. I want Rudder Pedals for Taxing and Flight Realism, But it sucks only having one little Throttle on top of my yoke when I fly a 4 Engine Jet(The Propellor and Mixture are useless for jets)! It a pain to have to reach over my yoke to adjust the throttle when on approach, specially in a TurboProp with throttle and Propellor to deal with, But its also a pain the rump to maintain the centerline with the 0 and enter key for rudder lolol. So, My delema, CH Rudder Pedals, or CH Throttle Quadrant for my big jets and Turboprops??? Here Is a link to the CH Throttle Quadrent: http://www.chproducts.com/retail/usb_throttle_quad.htmSo I turn to the Experts... You guys....hehe Any Help is much appreciated. Thanks :):):)Here Is a link
September 23, 200421 yr Good Lord! Do you know how much beer you can buy for what those rudder pedals will cost you??? I don't know what college you're attending but are you sure you have your priorities sorted out? You currently have some extra free time and you apparently have some extra cash. The truth is that chics won't care about your new rudder pedals, trust me - alcohol will serve you better. This is the best advice I can give you.
September 23, 200421 yr I wouldn't be so sure about that tiger! There is nothing more sexy than a man is with pedals! Well maybe a Man with a cowboy hat! lol :* but really, what good is a drunk Man? Ha lolI just got the pedals myself and they are in my opinion; the way to go first. You really seem to experiences flight, the taxi and flying and landing are so different, plus the braking is just that added touch.HuggsKittiex:)~This system is: AMD 64 3500+ 939 ASUS A8V Deluxe with wifi GCorsair TwinX1024 3200 XL Pro 2 36gig W.D. September 23, 200421 yr Hi Fluff,In my opinion you really can't fly realistically without pedals. You will be amazed how much your landings improve! The throttle quad on the CH Yoke is not all that bad, just a little awkward but lots of planes have their throttles in awkward places! Some even have them on the ceiling. You really only need to keep your hand on them until V1 and landing with the heavies.David
September 23, 200421 yr I agree with Kittie and the rest, go for the pedals first. Depending on what type of a/c you usually fly those throttles (that aren /Tord Hoppe, Sweden
September 23, 200421 yr "but really, what good is a drunk Man?"I hate hearing that from a woman. :-) Oh, and my 2 cents worth... pedals.Greg

Ill post about my first flight with pedals!:) To think I never had them even all the way back to FS95!!Thanks Again Guys!!!:):):):):)
September 23, 200421 yr Get both. There is no reason you need expensive CH stuff. Get the CH throttle and then buy the cheapest USB wheel money can buy that have equal break and gas travel. Now I am not sure that all wheels pedals will work in FS 2004 but there is a big chance. I use my Momo Force pedals but it
