I haven't updated my computer for over a year so I'm a bit behind the times when it comes to current Video cards. I'm running a 128 meg ATI 9600SE right now. Cost is a big issue right now as I'm out of work so please no $300 video cards recomendations please. I also need to put in another stick of 512 Ram to get me up to a Gig.ThanksBrian

Hi Brian, the SE you have is a stripped in half 9600. So your options probably already start with a 9600pro or XT. All in all it depends most on the resolution/display you use. Please feel free if you have further questions. Good luck and kind regards Jaap

I would say 6600GT is a really good budget choice. Costs about the same as a 9800 PRO but is a bit faster.

I'd second the 6600GT choice; great card for the $$. They can be had for $160-$220 over at newegg.com

Hi thanks! My computer has been down since I had my 6800 on RMA :(That was really weird. In all benchies I have seen the 6600 GT performs on par or outperforms an 9800 PRO. However may be because the 6600 GT stronger shaders and FS9 hardly uses any :)But still find it weird that a 9600XT can perform the same I don
