April 27, 200521 yr Author i can choose to install, or delete the partition and create another. If i try to reinstall on the current partition or delete it, a blue screen comes up after i hit the command key saying that my pc has encountered and error and is being shut down to prevent further damage.Only thing i can think of at this point is to take it into the shop and pay them 60$ an hour labor to fix the problem.. April 27, 200521 yr When you put the Windows XP CD in the CD drive and boot from it, you have to press the F6 key repeatedly and load the SATA drivers from a floppy which has these drivers included. These drivers are available on the Gigabyte site for your motherboard and probably on the Motherboard CD that was included with the MB. Have you tried this yet?
April 28, 200521 yr Author i have all my drivers installed. I have tryed to run from that cd also, and it is said to be an invalid boot disk... Chase Barnett
