I am just setting up a new machine with Windows XP, and am creating partitions etc.I have left the bottom C: partition for Windows. I seem to remember that experts here recommended putting the paging file on a separate partition.I'd be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction.Many thanks.--Bryn

I think this applies only if you have a separate physical drive, not just a single partitioned drive.and, fwiw, I let MS XP handle the paging file on its own...I figure Bill knows better than me...:-)Sherm
