Featured Replies

Hello Gents,OK, here is my system ocnfiguration:P4 2.42 GB OCZ dual channel PC3200ATI X850XT AGP 256 MBNow, before upgrading my ATI card, I used to have ATI 9700PRO one, and I was really happy getting and average of 22 fp with everything maxed except for the weather stuff. However, since I installed ATI X850XT card and using catalyst drive 5.1 now with everything maxed I'm get 18 fps!!!Can someone point on how to increase the fpsthanks,Fido

Well, that isn't really possible. Did you leave the settings as they were and only changed the cards, or did you also boost the settings.Secondly, if you like weather, then install replacement clouds which have less quality, thus providing better FPS.Even my system can't run maxxed weather settings, or I get too low FPS (read: below 20).EDIT: And install Cats 5.9. They are currently the best for ATI cards and FS. Some say 5.10 bring less performance.

I went back to Omega 2.6.42. these are like a few drivers previous. Also removed the CCC and replaced it with the Omega one. Everything runs fine. The CCC takes up a lot of resources. I have an ATI X850.I get blocks on the water every once in a while. Not sure what that is.JimCYWG

Never mind.
