Need a Video Card Recommendation

Featured Replies

Hi Guys:Just got a new Dell, 3Gig with a 24" wide screen LCD.I know that it will take a SUPER video card to get any performance in FS on a monitor this size when running 1900x1200.What would you all recommend?Tnx,

im using a 6600GT and FS runs fine on my system with a 24" at 1920 x 1200.

I7-10700F RTX 3070 32 Gig Ram

The video is PCIe, with 2gig system ram. The existing video card is an x600e with 256 video ram, which has poor frame rates in FS4 - but OK for geneeral business apps.

The CPU is an Intel, 3.0GHZ, HT

Which mainboard, which soundcard what kind of ram? :-)I am running ole AGP and my GF6800GT is doing jut fine at 1900x1200 and I have another monitor running at 1024x768 for panels running frm the same card. If you have performance problems you can still lower the AA setting.Alex

GeForce 7800. I've seen other threads here about texture problems, but the same threads are out there about ATI cards too. The fact is I've been running a 7800 GT PCIe with two monitors and a GeForce 5700 PCI with a third monitor for several months now with absolutely NO problem and very good performance. All sliders maxed and heavy weather too. I can get it down to about 17fps when I just beat this card down with everything I can think of including 100% Ultimate traffic,100%3D clouds, etc. I'm VERY happy with this card.
