Greetings folks,I bought the following PC-Core 2 duo E6600Asus P5W DHX1900XT 512MBCreative X-FI soundcardand a croasir ram that still havent arrived (6400c4pro 2gb)The thing is , that i am not getting the FPS i was hoping to get.Lets say i'm flying from EGKK (gatewick pro by uk2000)i set my max fps to be 26 but i am only getting +- 20 at the pmdg's cockpit.. is that normal is that what i should be getting ? because to me it's rather low FPS...I also landed at LFPG (by simwings) and also noticed a drastic decrease in FPS (15-17fps) is that normal ?Please PLEASE tell me what to do to get the most out of my systemthanks,Paul.

Hello Paul,I think this is the maximum we can get from FS2004 as what they said is a CPU bound application. I recently sold my 6 mos. old computer and bought a new one, although there is an improvement but I got the same as what you've got. Lets wait for the FSX- I'm tired of this FS2004 performance issue. My specs;AMD 64 4600+2 Dual Core (PCI-E); 3GB RAM DDR400; ATI X1900 XTX 512MB; Saitek X52; 19"LCD.We are using a powerful video Card but you see...Don't bother much about it. I had done all the tweaks; Overclocking; etc.etc.. but nothing you get of what you thought.Regards,Isagani
